Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [22nd - 25th February 2014]

Everton weren't great upfront, but generally strong everywhere else. But Everton once again went away to a top team and were more than a match. Everton were the second best team for me to go away to City, maybe the best team to play at the Emirates(in the league), good against Chelsea, beat Utd. It's not necessarily the wins, it's the attitude, mentality and real winning belief takes time, though Moyes can show that you can throw it away very quickly :p

A couple years instilling this kind of belief and mentality they can hopefully win more of the biggest games. Shame it didn't finish 0-0 both for Everton and the title race.

So so lucky, never should have been a free kick, didn't desreve to win it.

Im a Man Utd fan so I should be happy I guess but it still feels so wrong!

1-0 to Arsenal - Giroud. I don't think Sunderland have actually put a tackle in yet. Lazy start, and they've been punished.

WIlshere created goal, Giroud with another, well, just over 6 yard finish. Giroud when he doesn't have to move can be good :p

Wilshere running through the defence but my word, shocking defending. Fullback watching Giroud move across him doesn't follow, 4 defenders all attracted to the ball. lol

Sunderland and finally appeared to realise they are in a football match, at least a bit. First 10 mins was just about the most pathetic attempt and pretending to be a football team I've seen all season.

oh ffs, Southampton went 1-0 up but are now 2-1 down :(

Can't stand Alladyce, wanted them to do so poorly this year they fire the useless ****.

Huddlestone scoring to make it 1-0, massive deflection on his shot taking it to the opposite corner, keeper had no chance. Ref managed to miss Heitinga taking a massive shoulder hit to his head about 5 yards infront of him and playing on. Looked quite nasty but he seems okay, went down like he was KO'd though.

I actually like Big Sam, sure he doesn't play great football but he gets results. I felt bad for him when he was sacked at Blackburn unfairly maybe thats why i have a soft spot for him :D

...and I thought the BBC were bad at updating the scores.
