Haven't dropped the price enough. As above, get rid of Kinect, take another £50 off and maybe I'll consider it. Though, at the price point it's still an inferior console.

At any point it's an inferior console, if you just buy a console for spec stick with the PS4.

Missed opportunity then, as far as Im concerned TF is as a big a draw as GoW was for MS so assumed they would push the boat out on the XO. Hell I kinda believe the whole X360 TF delay rumours :p

Man just reminded me how crap the PS4 LEs are so far too (oh a transfer on the HDD cover :/). Make **** white people!

All I need to do now is find the thread where I was bet there wouldn't be a price cut before the summer and see who owes me what.

I hate to say I told you so ;)

Kinect doesn't interest me as a gaming tool and I already have a 720p 30fps console. The games are cheaper and the controller is better, remind me again why I should pay £399?

I paid £330 for a PS4 2 weeks ago from Gamestop as have many other people.

I paid £27 for PSN plus 2 months ago from very using their voucher codes they always have going, even then you can normally get it for around £30 if you shop smart

so that's £357 I paid for them myself.

the camera is £45 at Zavvi.

that's £402 by my math so yeah around £400.

even if you pay £35 for psn plus it's still £410 which imo is still around the £400 mark.
 
Isn't the PS4 Second Son Bundle £385?

I think £15 for a kinect isnt too much to ask, and i personal hate mine but only really cause it cant understand the wife and listening to her shouting at it is starting to get old.
To me Kinect is a fancy webcam and as I skyoe from the Xbox quiet abit its worth having.

I assume PS4 arnt doing any bundle deals with upcoming AAA titles?

Got to love PR.. only one of those is XB1 exclusive.

At least now we know for sure that XB1 sales must have dropped a lot in Jan/Feb.
 
It should be £320 for a Xbox One console on it's own then buyers should be able to choose whether they want Kinect or not & what first game to buy.
 
What's going to be even more interesting is what Sony do.

They could do nothing as MS haven't made it better in terms of value for money than the PS4 yet, but IMO it would be smart for them to just offer a PS4 for £349.99 and include say 12 months of PLUS and market it as 12 free months of online as well as at least 12+ games.
 
Im not sure how dropping £30 shows Microsoft are panicing or anything else.

I does however position them nicer in the market (sub £400) and makes it a more attractive product on the shelf next to PS4 bundles, Second Son Bundle being £385.

Makes it more a case of which game do you like the look of Titanfall or Second Son.

Its not like they did a nintendo and hacked 30% off the price or something crazy.
