I'm neutral but I doubt this will happen, I predict the s5 will be the best selling flagship this year.
I agree, nothing can stop the juggernaut that is Samsung.

Yes, and what do you think to the Note 3? I might get one if this is crap; don't think it will be though.
Once I got over the size of it (a day tops) its amazing. The camera is ok.... have learnt to take my slr out when I want photos
The battery life is unreal, have got well over two days without charging it! Signal seems as good as my 4s which I'm pleased about as that was a big concern. Note 3 is currently available for £449 sim free.
The Note 3 sucks - awful build quality, awful reception. Don't buy if you live in a poor signal area!

Does 'flagship' equate to non-Apple phone?
...
That's it, it has little to do with advertising either it's consumer confidence built up from the s2 which gave people something better than an iPhone for half the price followed closely by the epic Note series, then the largely satisfying s3 and 4 only time and a radically poor couple of s iterations will dent that Mainstream consumer confidence and by radically poor I don't mean the pattern or feel of the plastic back.
There's a sub forum for talking about those little things.
'Free on contract' is what gives Samsung their momentum - but they have still never genuinely outsold a single iPhone model and it doesn't look like that's going to change any time soon...
The build seems ok to me?
Which colour are you going for?
So I was right?![]()

That plastic is uniquely ugly - there must be technical or financial reasons why they haven't gone metal but that really is horrible.
S5 is going to be a spec bump with a poorly implemented finger print sensor IMO - we shall see later.....
