Nearly 7 weeks still waiting

So I opted in January for the step up programme Evga offer. I started at position 367 and today I have hit 182. So by this I have another 7 weeks to wait for the second part of the process. This is going from a 780 classified to a ref 780ti. Seriously considering stopping this process it's starting to annoy me. :(

I opted in for Step Up in November and got the option to do it around 4 weeks later. Sucks that you have to wait so long :/
If you have a decent Classified then I'd advise you not to bother.

What a farce...

Are you being serious?

At systemerror, I would have stayed with the Classy or gone for a 780Ti Classy in place of. I think it is a daft move you are doing but if you really want the 780Ti, why not sell the Classy and just buy a 780Ti?

No other GPU company allows this and I think it is a great addition to an already superb company.

If you have no patience, sell and buy but it isn't like you are waiting 7 weeks without a GPU (RMA stle).

Never used step up But to be waiting this long and still only 1/2 way along in the que i think i would ditch it and if i really wanted a ti sell the classy and buy a ti.
hmm tbh i think i'd just keep your classy and wait for maxwell But its your $$ and you should do what you like :)

Unfortunately patience ain't my strong point and it's not that I don't like Evga as a company. Just can't believe it might take 14 weeks to turn around. Meh the way it goes. We'll since I'm going tri sli just still makes me think I'm silly going ref 780ti over the 780 classics. :)

+1
looks like you have your answer, place your order for 3 780ti's Classy's and blocks while you put your 780 classy up for sale....
:D

Going from a 780 Classified to the 780ti Reference?

Pfft... :p

Jesus. Not sure I could be bothered with that.

I hope EVGA aren't struggling financially, would be a big shame to see them go. Just seems over the last few months with the 780Ti launch there have been a few delays and mishaps.

Yes, it's awful service.

What you chose to do is immaterial, the wait is atrocious and ridiculous. Clearly a marketing gimmick, you may go thru it once but not twice.
