Best Special Edition of any car?

Apart from the Corsa Unlimited Edition then perhaps the good old BX St Tropez:

I have a bit of a soft spot for the panda's, dispite the fact my 6'2 frame barely fits in comfortably, my knees are braced against the door and the dash with the seat right back. That one (minus the penguin) is actually quite nice.

Adding the Lotus Carlton and Buick GNX for boring barges that turned into ferocious monsters. Also Pug 405 T16. According to how many left, just two T16s remain.

I like your idea but they are not really special editions but either homologation specials or tuned by specialist companies.

Special edition to me are cars which are available in a standard form but have that little extra touch. Like the 309GTi Goodwood, 182 Trophy or MKIV Golf GTi anniversary for example.

Sierra RS 500 Cosworth. (500 built)

BMW e28 M5. (187 RHD examples built)

Two very special editions! :) - you could get bland and boring examples of either model range yet sat at the top of the tree was these monsters which back in the mid 80's was quite something.

A special edition needs more than silly stickers IMO, the limited production of both my examples makes them special in itself - as used prices for either car reflect today - both were hand built (albeit the Sierra by Reliant!!) which is quite special too IMO. :)

That Panda is bloody awful! :p

Just going back to the OP - I drove past a Fiat dealership today and actually saw one on the forecourt, other than the slightly odd Penguin that seems to have been smashed on the door at any old angle the colour scheme is quite nice and suits the car, always had a soft spot for Pandas :) /JamesMay
