7 Days from when you received the item.

It must be returned as new. You can claim return postage unless it stated otherwise in the T&C of the retailer you bought it from.
 
So basically you can try before you buy. I ordered a gfx card . Waterblock today but found a better card for less money I can just leave my items boxed and call them up to return them

Yes - I would not open them though.

Check the T&C from where you bought it and see if they pay the return costs or not.

Make sure you follow exactly the procedure set down by the company involved, quote RMA numbers etc.

AFAIK companies are allowed up to 30 days to refund you though.
