So we are off to florida in a few weeks and staying at a disney resort. We are not hiring a car this time around so will be relying on disney food. We have found a supermarket that deliver to the hotel.
So my Question is is there anything that we should order that is either different to what we have in the UK or something that you think we should try?

Cheers

My last experience at an American supermarket with some US friends ended up with their looking confused and distraught when I suggested we buy some vegetables.

goto the foreign foods section where you find such magnificent things as newcastle brown ale

avoid american choclates and sweets like the plague.
twinkys are horrible

A&W Root Beer and Cream Soda
Proper Mountain Dew (not the energy version you can get over here, not the same!)
Runts
Lucky Charms

Steer clear of the chocolate, American chocolate tastes like cheese (or at least Hershey's does) however Reese's is ok but then you can get that here.

Friends stayed in Disney and said that everything they needed was a walk away. You don't need anything else.

I did the car thing and stayed in a Villa a couple of years ago and everything from getting food to beers required driving/Taxi.

that's not an excuse to avoid the malls though, you can get some really nice discounts as well

Such as?

The only thing I found to be cheaper were Levi's Jeans. I bought a watch from JC Penny's and after paying tax, it cost me the same as this country. I also took an empty golf bag to buy some new clubs but again the prices were the same and in most cases, dearer than the UK. We did the out lets and found most clothes to be the same price as the UK.

As for food shopping, I didn't have a clue if it was cheaper or not. Eating out was massively cheaper though and I was never hungry.

Not a dig btw but curiosity to what is cheaper.

It is if you don't have a car, very easy to walk into the wrong area in Florida!

Also, Florida isn't one of the best states to shop in tax wise compared to somewhere like Minnesota which has zero sales tax on clothing for example.
