Ruf is a sequential gear box so need for clutch. There's is a slight issue with the Ruf and the MP4 that you can't shift down too early without it going into neutral or just not shifting down. I believe this is deliberate with the MP4 to stop you blowing the engine. The Ruf didn't have it to start with but now it does. Again I'm not sure if this is deliberate and realistic or just to make both cars similar.
I'd also say that the Ruf Track (the middle spec, used in GT3) is the easiest of the three specs to drive. You have to be a lot smoother with the other two otherwise they swap ends quite easily.

Barmy, did thrustmaster drop the load cell they were supposed to be making, i would have thought it would be released by now, leo bodnar is quite expensive and out of stock for ages now.
See thats what scares me to race in the higher classes, its bad enough with the mx5 at times, but i do like bigger faster cars, suits me more if that makes sense - still no where near ready to take any of the rufs into a race yet.
As for the pedals, it looks like my pivot axles for the pedals are loose/sloppy, naff all i can do with it, so contacted thrustmaster again for the 5th time since owning the t500 and th8.
so after navigating charlotte road course the correct way round I turned in a time of 1.28.xxx .7 something I think, pretty pants probably as I was going so slow round some corners. that road section in the middle is just so easy to spin on :\ cambers going every which waywide though.... might try a race by the weekend
