Have you ever sued anyone with "no win no fee" basis?

So without really getting into the full story, Could people post their thoughts on the pitfalls of doing such a thing?

The event in question actually happened in the US and I apprecipate most people on this forum wouldn't be a expert on US law but my main worry is that I could get stung with massive legal fees due to some terms and conditions I don't fully understand.

Has anyone successfully sued for an accident that wasn't your fault. (basically what this is about).

It's adorable that you think this will wash in GD. Prepare to be harassed until you break and then spill the story.
 
Its basically a personal injury claim due to faulty PPE during a segwey ride in the US.

Now, there was a waiver signed at the start but the injury we received was due incorrect chemicals used to clean helmet which caused chemical burns to the eye. I should point out that I wasn't alone in this as this was a part of a tour with others suffering same injuries (worse in fact) which ruined their holiday.
 
sorry, the lawyer hired is on a contingent fee basis and hes sent out terms and conditions... Anything to look out for in particular?

Travel insurance?
Holiday company?
First port of call for a ruined holiday I would have thought, let their legal advice advise you?
 
Asking for advice on a UK computer forum about personal injury claims under US law would appear to be a novel approach. And by novel I mean stupid.

But it ticks the "free" box so yay for that result.
 
The travel insurance paid for the hospital bills as went to A and E but there will be no additional damages covered.

Holiday company didnt charge for segwey ride but they werent responsible for any of this.
The whole thing was a freak accident tbh, but some of the others (3) suffered so I am keen to help them get some damages for loss of work afterwards, etc.

Anyways. I should know what to expect from GD, I've been on this forum longer than you lot :P
 
I will take on your case but before we start talking about the amount of compensation you are entitled to i need to know a few more details,

Are you a floppy boy or a faget since the accident?
How has the accident effected your ability to hump?
Immediatly prior to the accident where was your tickeling finger?

No...so yeah I mean the whole story is too complicated for this forum.

I would say it affected me a bit on the holiday though.
