Titanfall (XB1/360)

Why would you agree to a pre-order when you dont know what mark-up GAME are gonna add? Reminds me of all that hullabaloo when people were trying to upgrade last-gen to this-gen games and GAME had changed the price difference between when you bought the last-gen game and when you traded it in...

The reason I no longer pre order with game, they're sharks.

Plus they now charge like £5 to pre order as well. Screw that.

It fails me why people order with the like who charge for a pre order, also why do people even order from the stores? Majority of online gaming shops are cheaper, no deposit, give you points for the purchase and 8 times out of 10 you get it delivered early.

That has to be a joke?...so you can slap £5 to keep a copy in case of sell out, then they can turn around and charge the full RRP ( that I rarely see now) on the game?

Yes, they charge a minimum £5 to pre-order a game they wont tell you the price off, they then take that £5 off the price of the game when you pick it up. LE's/CE's are normally more £20+.

Before the new consoles launched my local branch wanted £10 per pre-order for XB1 games.

It really is a joke, that compared to the trick they pulled on me at launch by hiking the prices up has made me never order from them again, I like the people in the store they are good guys and always have good conversations with them, but once my Christmas vouchers and reward points are spent I'll not step foot in there to buy anything again.

It's the reason I did not buy my PS4 from them either, despite them also having stock.

It's to stop people placing pre-orders and then going elsewhere. The problem is the refusal to tell anyone the price which they may want to change depending on what their competition does.

It's a silly system, ever more antiquated in the face of online downloads and people not wanting to preorder a game that turns out to be broken.

It will be the same price as every other big title for sale on the MS Store(s):
UK: £54.99
US: $59.99 (£35.87)

I know which I'll be getting :)

Just ordered this from tesco, £5 off code which ends today names it £37 plus I used some clubcard vouchers making it £24.50. :)

I tried to change to a US account a while ago to take advantage of cheaper prices but couldn't get a damn payment option to work :(
