Toure often puts in these performances, fitness/size/effort wise he's often worse as the season drags on. Yes sometimes he gets the goal out of nothing but offered very little else in that game and many others. He's too inconsistent to be considered truly one of the greats. When he is having a good game he can be almost untouchable but he puts in way too many performances like today.
I am surprised by the changes, not the number but overall. I would have taken Navas off over Nasri, except for the yellow card and how wound up he was getting. Would have made at least one change at half time to send the message to the players to wake up sharpish, that message may have come too late now. Negredo though, might have been better off with Negredo on the wing over Nasri, have to see how Nasri gets on.
