Went on mrs's facebook and asked if anyone has a sky router for sale, grabbed another 30min later for £5.

Guess bace**** can be useful at times.
 
Lose 2-1 in 123rd minute and the kid sends me a message thinking he's FIFA god. Apart from the fact that both of his goals were from corners, contained and only used lob ball really defines FIFA in general. Along with the fact that because I only pass side ways as apparently that's now how football is supposedly played. I'm a complete noob LOL.

What keeper are you using and do you ever try and get the ball on a corner using the keeper?

Also depends on how far away the ball is being played and how tall the opposing player is it's being aimed towards.

I find the keeper is best for anything inside or just on the edge of the 6 yard box (unless it's aimed at the front post, he can't get there in time).

Otherwise if it's further away i normally try and drag back the defender marking the corner taker into the box and use him to attack the ball unless he hits it quickly then auto switch and attack it using the shoot button.

attacking headers (even when defending them) using the shoot button (circle) rather than pass (square or cross) makes the player attack them more aggressively i have found.
 
Ok what's going on here. Was playing PC version last night lost 4 games by large scores :(

Against teams that were all created this month and had players like IF robben and TOTY players in them.

I usually get the odd one or two in a season but last night was like reroll night on the PC.

I'm not to bad at the game but my 79-80 CB can't compete against a team of 500K players.

Also I still can't understand why my attackers don't make runs I pick up the ball at the half way line and my two forwards (4-4-2) just stand there even when I lob a through ball?

Whereas the other team has 3-4 players constantly making runs. It means my whole team works the ball up the park then I'm really open to counters :(

Anyone help. I've tried Ultra Defensive right up to Ultra attack but no difference what's the secret. I know to make the run you can use L1 and pass but it's not that I want it is the run through by my two strikers.

Wish I could record a game to give you an idea...

Ive not played on the PC since I got my PS4 but we could have a game if you like? See whats happening? Origin is theonejat
 
Neither Klose or Gomez have the "tries to beat defensive line" trait

therefore they won't make runs even on attacking for lob through balls unless you 1-2.

you want a striker that has that specific trait then go to futhead and look at strikers and their traits.
 
It's funny reading people's comments about spamming 1-2s,crosses, lobbed though balls. There no right or won't way to play FIFA, just because you play or hate a particular style of play didn't mean everyone else does.
Instead of getting annoyed, learn how to deal with them.

0-7 0-2 0-4 1-5 1-6 :( ouch

Actually don't have gomez and klose sorry that's my PS3 team my PC team is

Fowards Soldado Osvaldo

Midfield Young - Lampard - Cleverly - Lennon

Defence Baines - Smalling - Ferdinand - Walker

GK Hart (never seems to hold a ball shot from any angle :( )

Res Forwards are Chamakh and Kone

How many coins do you have to spend? If you are on a restricted budget then Ba & Kone have worked perfectly for me in the past. Find room for Fernandinho in the middle somewhere. Chiriches is a cheaper (and better imo alternative) to both those CB's.

Those would be my cheap replacement recommendations so far, if you have more coinage there may be others you prefer to use.
 
I have about 16K spare but could double that if I sell some experimental players.

Last night I didn't get any packs yet notice this morning I have 4 :D

I don't mind any style...

Its when the player just does the same thing over and over again which is quite boring - u can tell the player is trying to win at all costs and hopes the glitch will get them the easy goal...

One thing which is really boring is the player who plays across backline even at 0 0 drawing your players out - if you don't move up, they just pass and pass until you move up...
 
I usually pass along the back only when I'm forced too. Usually i start my attacks from defence and pass my way up and only go back if there is no forward option. Pass along the back is only done when the opponent is using the crazy sprint contain.
 
Noticed I didn't rage as much when I lost with my peasant teams :D.

We'll see how long this lasts.

Edit: Currently rolling with 530-xx-220 :(

Tries to Beat Offside Trap, Finesse Shot

Therefore Torres has the trait your looking for.

He also has finesse shot trait which means he should be really good at taking finesse shots.

Jovetic has "flair"

this means they can easily take on players and beat them, sometimes they do special tricks when you try and take on a player automatically which only they do. It's things like how they control the ball and knock it on and then run after it, etc.

Carroll has the power header trait, this means when he heads the ball 9 times out of 10 it will be a bullet and fly into the net, he can produce a serious amount of power on his headers usually.

Most of the traits are therefore self explanatory.
