Tonight is going to be good. Bayern at home are a different kind of machine then when away. Ribery is back for this one.

Bayern have scored 15 goals in 3 matches since playing Arsenal.

possible line up? 4-1-2-2-1. 6 midfield players.

Now and then, but Martinez has been injured for a huge part of the season, he's more like cover as a defensive midfielder. As with most top players I don't think there will be many positions Lahm can't play, I've always thought fullbacks can make very good defensive midfielders. Comfortable running with the ball when required, composed, pass forward or clear when needed and even get forward and support, but with all the defensive strength required.

What's up with Kos's hamstring though, he missed the last game with a hamstring issue, but I haven't seen any "Kos out for 3/6/284 weeks with Hamstring knack" headlines so, just a precaution or is he out for some time.

Seems pics of him training so many be available. Sanogo is injured again, Gibbs is out, so Bendtner is actually likely to be in the squad if not starting. Wilshere obviously injured also and Chesney banned, not the strongest team to be taking. Personally I'd like to see Ozil not starting but coming on later. Could actually go 4-4-2 with bendtner and Giroud upfront, play an entirely different way and an unexpected way, AOC and some driving pace to get forward and support. Doubt it, we'll likely see Ozil start, Giroud upfront, and neither be very involved. We'll see.

Don't think a 4-4-2 will be very effective with the team selection we have PLUS playing Bayern, they will just run a midfield ragged.
Can only assume packing in the midfield and catching them on the break.

Both Arsenal and Man City can play brilliantly on their day, I just don't see it happening. Man City stand the best chance of turning things around if anyone because Barcelona aren't all that.

I suppose the good thing about the first leg results is that they have to play their natural attacking games and not just a repeat of the cautious chess-like first leg performances.

I'm thinking Arsenal can win this game (they've done it before at in Munich and Dortmund). As before though I don't think we'll win well enough to progress.

Surprised we're starting with Poldi, lack of left backs is also going to hurt us. Although I seem to remember an epic champions league run with Flamini as a makeshift left-back for god knows how long.
