Both teams should have been down to ten men ( Raf not Vidic) and its questionable third would have been scored with Vidic on the pitch

Well good win,I'd argue our easiest win there in awhile, credit to Allen today too did well better than I thought he would. Sturridge was okay but again let his shellfish side out bit too much, should have had Rafael off but won anyway so over all good

Least United won't have to worry about playing in the Europa League next season.

I'd rather not be in it, not that it wouldn't be nice to win it, but getting back in the top four is far more important and no Europe makes that easier.

To be honest I don't think our attack really came alive until the red card but our midfield was absolutely fantastic. We didn't allow United to get going and set up any telling moves but if United had stayed on their feet and not been so reckless in the box this could've been a very different game.
