Again, couldn't stand the M27 in BF3! Much preferred the RPK or M249 :)

the M27 was good ... when used like an assault rifle with a big magazine.

If you tried to use it with a bipod in a supporting role you were out of luck. Those who didn't like it probably never used it like the former.

Yeah I was using it as such, just never really liked it. My favourite gun in BF3 was the famas up until they nerfed it.
 
The game is fine apart from the servers, the rubber banding on occasion last night was awful. It does have a few bugs like the killcam (which is a new one), crashing, etc but I reckon if they had better servers put a bit more time and manpower into patches they could have had an EPIC game.

Servers are the biggest problem with this game. EA need to invest in some decent ones.

The killcam bug is quite funny really. Yesterday on Lancang Dam I was killed by a SMAW which I saw towards from a building yet the killcam showed it as an attack boat that had killed me:rolleyes:

R30 Server Update
-Players will no longer be able to pick up deployed AA mines
-Players will no longer be able to equip an AA mine together with rocket launchers
-Fix for an issue where players could have two Javelin projectiles in the air at the same time
-Javelin damage has been reduced from 34% to 30% (was 25 prior to last patch)
-Active Radar cone on the Ground Active Radar Missiles has been reduced from 5 degrees to 2 degrees
-Reduced the resupply time of the Flares from 25 to 20 seconds
-Reduced the resupply time of the ECM from 30 to 25 seconds
-Increased the resupply time of Active Protection from 30 to 35 seconds
-Bullpup weapons with 1x sights should now all properly benefit from increased movement speed while aiming down the sight
-Increased the damage of the CBJ-MS all ranges to better balance its low rate of fire
-Reduced the direct damage of the Attack Helicopter Zuni rockets as they were slightly too powerful after the last adjustment - as a result that last increase has been toned down to 50%
-Increased the side to side recoil of the AWS to balance it with other 800 RPM LMGs and keep its unique firing behavior
-Reduced the damage of the FIM-92 Stinger and SA-18 IGLA to 35% from 45% against Scout, Attack Helicopters and jets
-Toned down the helicopter flip caused by FIM-92 Stinger, SA-18 IGLA and Starstreak HVM-2 impacts
 
I'm not a fan of LMGs, I always find myself reverting back to the MTAR.

Also not surpirsed the JAVELIN has been downgraded. It was underpowered before but then it became too overpowered!
 
Back to AA you mean LOL .

I'm a fan of the AA myself, it's very simple to use and all you need to do is set up camp on the edge of the map with active radar and autoloader and the opposite teams air support will be down as soon as you see it.

the only problem is nobody protecting you from a single guy with C4 and you don't get many kills due to pilots bailing after being hit once or twice.
 
Just started playing this again.

What the help is up with the 5 seconds or so where youve been shiot but still like "Am i dead"?
Then 5 seconds later you find out that yes you have been dead for 5 seconds.

Seems to happen most when on a mounted gun
 
Its server lag, and dice don't know how to fix it

You'll see this when entering firefights with others where your gun doesn't seem to do any damage, but at the same time the other person isn't shooting at you. Then all of a sudden the game will catch up and you'll die instantly.

That explains why i was the victim of many a crack shot yesterday then
 
If you wanted realism, the missiles on the mobile AA would be even more effective.

Nobody wants realism, we want balance, right now, the AA mobile is the most glaring problem to anything thats in the air in this game and they are continuing to completely ignore it.

An example is it needs to be completely removed from both sides on Langdamn map.
