I deal with a high amount of Young Adults who were abused as children, some by men, some by women and they hold onto it for life - some blame themselves.

A lot that I deal with use it as an excuse to do wrong because they see it as though the country/world etc owe them something for failing them and not protecting them.

I have had long conversations with people who have committed Sexual offences as they see females as scum and there to be used & abused, most of them were sexually assaulted by females at a young age and now have an ingrained hatred towards females.

Just hope this lad has a stable, loving family life and a decent chance to get the help he might need.

But yeah such a small sentence and 10 years on the Sex Offenders Register is nothing really. Especially for a crime that carries a maximum sentence of 14 years.

The sorts of 8 year olds that are likely to get into situations like this are probably not the ones that you see down at your local library. For some kids childhood can be very grim indeed and they have to grow up pretty fast. :(

Not in the slightest, I am in no way condoning what happened, just saying that your idea of what 8 year olds are like is possibly self selecting. That said it is not unheard of for Year 3 girls to start puberty, which is a pretty terrifying prospect.

And that lies the problem, our entire justice system is flawed and broken. It's a lottery system where in one part of the country you could escape jail while in a other part of the country, you wouldn't.

Where people get locked up for years for a white collar crime while someone who does GBH or worst will get less years then the white collar guy.

Indeed, but this one just boggles the mind. 50 counts of rape on a child, a very young one at that and only 12 months. Like it has been said if it was a bloke one step away from a public hanging yet with this case we get, meh the 8yr old kid probably loved it....

She was only found guilty of 3 counts of sexual assault though so she can only be punished for those 3 counts.

At that age I wasn't even interested in sex. When I was, I had no sexual interest in Shrek. I don't know why you seem to think every boy wants to have sex with every skank. If the kid was gay and was molested by a man would you be saying he "loved it"?

Going on where I was living at the time, I can't have been more than 11 and was probably a bit younger. 9 or 10, I'd say. It was a long time ago and I don't remember directly, but I remember when my family moved.

Going on what I remember of what I learnt about human biology, I seem to recall that 8-13 is considered normal for the beginning of puberty.

But that's a side issue. There are probably at least a few people who are physically developed enough to have an interest in sex at 8 years old, but that doesn't mean that having sex with a 8 year old is little more than merely a cause for embarrassment (as per the judge's comments).
 
I don't need to know all the facts.

Clearly, this poor lad lost his v-plates to an absolute minger without his consent, if she were fit there would be some mitigation but this bush pig gets -10 on the hot charts.
