Ronaldo and Messi, best two goal scorers in the world. Both players in the past 8 or so games have had a game in which they've scored 1 goal while taking 10 or more shots.

I hate, really hate this "he should have scored", the best players in the world exceptionally rarely score more than 1 in 3 shots, most are way above that 1 in 5-6. There aren't players who take 6 shots and score 6 goals, anywhere in the world.

It's so frustrating to read the constant "he missed two shots he's crap", while acting like the best players in the world never miss.

Ronaldo 25 goals in 183 shots before tonight, Messi 18 goals in 108 shots, Benzema 15 in 70 shots.

Theres a massive difference between 'shots' and 'absolutely clear cut chances' - we're both Gooners, and if Giroud had missed the opportunitys that Benzema has had tonight I guarantee we'd both be crucifying him. (Most likely if Giroud had scored all 6 tonight you'd still be crucifying him, but thats another story

)

I'm not saying that Benzema is crap not taking six out of six, I'm saying that he has had a chance at bagging six though!

Awesome, Ramos red, would have preferred to see it be Pepe. couldn't tell from all angles if there was really contact, it was small but I think that last replay shows a slight clip.

Clipped his trailing leg which made Neymar trip himself. Intelligent attacking play to run across the defender but it's impossible to avoid the contact as a defender when you have no space to run in to.
