I know of a few people who have similar types of car but keep them garaged and driven a couple of not too hot not too cold dry summers days a year. Sure some people do it for the "investment" but I'm sure there are better ways to invest...

I'm in the camp of use it, but keep it tidy. Picking up a couple of minor marks etc through its use is fair enough, but I wouldn't leave it to get covered in dirt.
After all, they were made to be driven, not to be museum pieces.
They were built to be driven like 25 years ago and even then not as a daily driver. Not sure it's recommended now unless you can afford to roll your smokes in 20s and take it from there.
