Why necessarily the PS4? It's available on PC if you already have on, or Xbox one
I don't have any of them.
I have a mac, it's powerful enough but I don't have dual boot with windows and I rather play it on the tv in 5.1 surround sound.

That does look pretty damn sweet.
One of the few games I've seen footage of that really looks 'next gen' right now. That said I'm glad the consoles are a lot more powerful now, it means PC also won't be held back by woefully outdated consoles!

Girlfriend loathes when Final Fantasy comes out on consoles, she knows that's a "Oh ****, he's ignoring me for a week" sort of situation. Very rarely buy single player games/games which kill major time now because of it.
An hour of TF2 is much easier to put down than an hour of something like WoW/GW2.
... Says the one looking to buy a overpriced MMO rig =/]
EDIT: Division looks sick, one of the few games I want a console for.
this is one of my most anticipated titles! this and fallout 4, which we have no information on yetim wishing away the years.
They released information too early.
The source quoted above says they have the engine running, but ultimately haven't actually started work on the game yet.
To get this right, and have it properly balanced, bug tested and polished for release .... I can see 2015 easily.

Aw nooooooo..... I was just at the stage of being able to realistically afford something like a GTX780.... Now I'll probably have to buy eight of the Ti versions in order play this!!

I think this game will turn out like they've shown because it's being developed ONLY for new gen and PC. It's because of the last gen of consoles and cross gen development that Watch Dogs ended up like it has.

I flippin hope so because very few games get me excited these days. Gaming is still something I love doing but it's plummeted on my list of fave hobbies in recent years because of how boring most games are.
This game however, and some others in the works currently have me really excited (FFXV being one, despite the series being awful for over a decade).
This is top of my list though so I'm really hoping it delivers. It'll be a long wait yet though so be very interesting to follow the development of this

They couldn't even delivery Far Cry 3 in the promised form on PC. Mark my words it will be Watch Dogs all over again and it will look nothing like that.
Ubisoft have history with this, and a game that is supposedly 'only for nextgen' won't change that. There was no nextgen with far cry 3 on the PC.

To be fair though, if they can deliver the promised gameplay, I won't care about the drop in graphics. As amazing as the game looks, it's the idea of the gameplay that gets me most excited. If they can give me that, I'll be more than happy.

I'll agree it's not ideal, but saying it's deception is a bit harsh. I'd imagine the early stuff we see is what they aim for, then they realise they can't manage it so it gets scaled back. Of course, it can be misleading, and I'd much rather they just come out and explain why things have changed, but I wouldn't go as far as to say they're intentionally deceiving us (especially as the reviews will show everything anyway).
