There is no point trying to overclock the Titans or 290Xs as they both hit a CPU bottleneck around 170 fps

I think it is time to fire up the GTX 690s.:D

You would be surprised, single cards don't bottleneck and they also pull some big overclocks. At 1080p with a good 7970 you could get around 100 fps.
 
I'm not the luckiest matrix platinum owner...the best I've got in game is around 1175 - 1200, which would be fine for a 'normal' 7970...but it's supposed to be the creme de la creme of 7970's. :/

Here is the shocker

4 x 290Xs @1000/1250 stock

1080p

4930k @4.8

The GTX 690s beat them on minimums and average fps at 1080p. It is not the fault of the cards as they are all hitting the CPU bottleneck @1080p.

It is helpful if they post multiple results in the same thread, then it is just a case of copy, paste and alter a couple of things.

It gets easier once most of the regulars have posted their first results and then if there is any updates it is easy to edit.

Yeah that's what ive been doing. Trouble is i tend to forget to edit one thing. At one point yesterday we had two Humbugs. I think we can all agree one is plenty. :p

I'm happy so long as you keep your 290X's on top. At some point i will move above stock settings, so when i do watch out... :p
