Its every platform that's had the patch you just got today.

You'll probably find out later this morning if its the same. I'd say you'd be a fool to bet against it.

the PC thread is linked above, people will be testing now to confirm if PC is affected as well.
 
Just had some beautiful games on Lockers with no explosives. Shame I was the only person on my time with the brains to revive team mates to 100%.
 
was on there also. probably lowest skilled server with retards on :p

joined half way through ended up nearly top just nubs camping shooting corners.
 
definitely feels a bit better fps wise but my games been fine for ages now.

yup. Apart from a few fps dips on lolvolution events the game does run much smoother. No lag or rubberbanding, Hit markers seem solid, no annoying packet loss symbol, system performance test shows full green bars on 64 player servers.

Wave breaker on conquest large is great.

I forgot to check packet loss though, 1 min......
edit - no packet loss in or out.

There seems to be a lot of terrain deformation though (where you sink into the terrain for no bloody reason). Will get a proper idea after more testing for killed behind cover, player animations showing incorrectly in the evening as I just wanted a quick match.

Just played carrier assault large and the maps are pretty fun! Will properly "judge" once I am on with the ocuk lot though as playing with randoms is terrible!!!!

Oh and gunship on them lol.......... **** of with that ****.

Not played enough yet to get an idea s to netcode and performance etc. so far....
 
Haven't played enough to see about netcode yet but seems a lot smoother - holding 125fps (capped) in places it was spiking ~108-125 before the patch.

EDIT: Seems a little tighter/snappier feeling to play but hit reg and general glitchiness doesn't seem much changed.

I see what you mean. navy blue would look better imo, but still the black one looks sweet. :D

@All - What's going on with TS. Which is the official one to use? The one that asks for a password, how are we meant to poke an admin when they are in the regular channel?

Only the regular channel is passworded. I only did it because that is what everyone wants - nothing worse than being in a tight match for someone to come in and start spamming which is what had been happening.

The host wants someone to MTR the server who is on Virgin because he is convinced that it is my ISP causing the packet loss and doesn't believe that everyone else gets it as well :rolleyes:

lol mugs.... it's always someone elses fault. we had mumble latency/packetloss/disconnections for ages last year. every time we complained the company just said they were being DDoSd so all they could do was apologise and say they were working on it.

in the end we ditched it and jumped ship and think we rarely get issues with TS now :)


so stupid though "oh the box is being ddosd" oh.... again? convenient how every time our server was going down over the year it was always because of that one reason.....which was "out of their control" apparently while they tried to get better countermeasures in... stank of BS to me and just fobbing us off with any excuse.
 
Is that just for Naval Strike maps?

Normal maps - I don't have anything thats not part of delux edition refuse to give them any more money.

"Netcode" is still as bad as ever sadly for hitreg and general glitches but it does feel a bit snappier since the patch for some reason.
