Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes

I think this game is cracking and it has massively ramped up the hype I have for Phantom.

I have only every played the first 5 minutes of MGS4.. nothing else at all of the MGS series.

This imo is well worth the money, getting an S-Rank on all the missions and wrapping up all the trophies is taking some time and is great fun.

Then.. once done I can trade in against Infamous.

Win/Win imo.
 
I completed the main story. I'm so bad at it though (haven't completed a MGS since MGS 2). I basically sprinted Paz out and somehow managed not to die. Any tips?
 
Tranq gun, patience, moving guards etc.

It can be done very quickly if you choose and route and stick to it.

You can rescue Chico, or a least get to his compound within 2 minutes.. moving all the prisoners from there is a bit of a pain..

I always sneaked around the back of the map from that point.. under the bridge or via the moving truck. Wait for the guy at the truck to turn around then tranq the other guard and tranq the guy walking through the tented area if you can.. then move the first guard to tranq behind the concrete up stand/bollard and jump in the back of the truck.

Lay flat so you can't be seen... jump out of the truck once the door starts closing and make your way around the back of the building.. turn off the power and sit and wait for a dude to come and check.. then knock him out... rinse and repeat.. then clear the area ready for Paz.

Its a great game.. wish there was more to do and I'm excited for the full game now!
 
Started playing MGS 4 again after 3 years in anticipation for this, got waaaaay in... forgot there is no autosave...
 
I wonder if they plan on remaking Metal Gear 1 & 2 hence why they went with Kiefer.

Would be a bit hard to list to David Hayter doing Big Boss and Snake.
 
That's what I was thinking. I really hope he does come back, kiefer does a decent job but it just isn't right hearing snake being voiced by anyone other than David hayter.

Wait, it will drop eventually. Bidders on eBay are silly, the vast majority will happily pay brand new prices for second hand goods.
 
Have just won this short demo game :D on ebay for £16 including postage just about worth it cheapest ive seen it sell for over last month anyway.

Just completed the main story of this, couldn't hold out to summer.

Phantom Pain can't come soon enough, some absolutely shocking scenes which I'm sure Kojima hasn't just thrown in for shock value, some great music too.

Kiefer did a good job, actually quite enjoyed him doing it and hoping to see Solid Snake with BB at some point with Kiefer and Hayter.
