Is it fair that I was excluded from college?

You've already had at least one :)

This time it will be taken way way way way more cautiously because, dude? Right now I am hanging off the edge of a building and right now I've to be careful in order to stay clinged onto this building. I have 2 choice, I can either commit suicide or I can keep clinging on and I think I would rather do the latter. Right now there is no "You deserve a second chance" because there is no second chance when you die.

Skipped most of this,
Makes me sad that 30 years later, students still know more about technology than the actual teachers :/
The abuse of power is just par for the course with institutions.

I'm not convinced that the future needs such blind obedience to petty rules either, people should secure their network and stop bitching about kids being kids.

I'm hoping this is only a badly thought through analogy Ivee. You better not be thinking of suicide in any shape or form. You have had chances but you seem to be calling the college's bluff with your repeated offences.

There is a reality check here:

  • You broke your own behaviour order
  • You broke college policies
  • You broke law, it is irrelevant whether the code was malicious you spooked the recipient
  • You are a repeat offender

Take a break from college get a job and learn some behavioural lessons in the workplace.

There is no harm in apologising to the college but do not try to justify your actions because they are holding a piece of paper with your signature on it, saying you will abide ALL the rules. You can not hide behind, the other students were doing it so ........

I just hope I'm not responding to a troll.

My currently incomplete speech.
-------------------------------------------------------
What I did couldn't cause damage and wasn't a virus. My interpretation of a virus is a program that spreads across networks of computers infecting them, this program was nothing more than a few lines of code that loads up a full screen image of the Blue Screen of Death.

That says it all really, you don't see any problem with what you have done. It doesn't matter what YOUR interpretation of a virus is, it matters what the college thinks.

Dude, stop being an angsty teenager even if they kick you out it's not the end of the world.
Saying that if that's truly how you feel then you need to get that across to them and they might actually believe you'll behave yourself if they let you back in this time.

With the time off from your imminent departure from college, I'd seriously consider going and speaking to someone. A forum isn't going to solve your issues. You really need some professional help.

Now you're being a drama queen. Being kicked out of college is not the end of your life. Go back next year and do the course again if necessary. Or not. But to spout suicide analogies just shows a complete overreaction again.

It was just a metaphore, I am not going to suicide over this.

......

Assuming he's not trolling, I'm not so sure that's a great idea.

Given his history, unless he sorts out the issues he was being medicated for, then he'll just end up with a string of jobs he was "let go from" on his CV....

Christ, when I was at college I got threatened with exclusion for turning up drunk as hell after lunch once and wrecking a load of components (drunken circuit design).

Amazing what folk will get mad about now. Mind you OP, if they've already given you a few *******ings you shouldn't have messed about - if you've had two prior *******ings then you should have known you were on their **** list.

I don't see any problem with what you have done OP, I don't think you've really done anything wrong myself, a bit of harmless fun and a few people who take themselves way too seriously. But hey, I'm not your teacher.

If you'd previously ****ed about in my class then I'd probably use it as an excuse to boot you off the course if I could though, I've no time for people **** assing about. Not that it changes anything, they've got you by the balls my friend, life lesson to be learnt.

Todo list:

1. Say my speech
2. I don't know what the outcome would be of bring a representative with me so that's a no go atm.
3. If I am still not let in then need to see what to do from there however if I am let back in I need to be a lot more cautious about my actions and analyse them before performing them.

Wow grow the **** up jeez. You ain't in high school anymore, so take some responsibility for your actions. Go and apoligise to the head of the college and the teacher in question. Both written and verbal and you might stand a chance of getting back in.

I'm 3/4th through college, nearly reached the end and almost got all my IT qualifications I need. I have had to do 2 IT diplomas and on my third, before that I was forced to do this life skills course to get my Maths and English up to the right level. I've also been getting a really good grade in my last 2 diplomas.
