This game is an awful product at the moment, it is so flawed and broken it is way past a joke or even acceptable I've played Alpha's and Beta's of a higher quality than this.

You should try War Thunder if you have a PS4 it's a free to play dogfighting game.

100% completely free for the full game and it's honestly the best multiplayer game currently available on the PS4.

It has constant updates, new game modes coming soon and we should also have cross play against PC very soon.
 
The test servers are good, I wonder if they have a higher tickrate or better server side patch. The only downside is they're just running the one map.
 
Are these test servers people are harping on about still available on XB1? Would like to try and find one and see what the game plays like when it should :P

Don't think so.

They're only talking about it being a PS4 issue at the minute on Reddit. Hopefully when they fix it for PS4 it fixes xbox one too.
 
A few of us were on the test servers last night and, unfortunately, they were full of lag and rubberbanding :mad:

Bummer, it is so weird because when we played on Friday night they were fine.

Still I remember when they released a patch that solved the Lancang Dam RB-ing for the one night.

It's very hit and miss, some nights they can be perfect others rubber band all over the place, i had to leave one as it was to bad.

Last night though on a normal vanilla server it was perfect, no lag at all, proper hit registration, was amazing and made the game really fun to play.
 
I've noticed this on xbox - its very intermittent. Servers can go from being fine to rubber banding like hell.

Maps appear to influence this - as certain maps like lancang dam are more prone to it than others. But its more than just that as you can have good games and laggy games on maps like caspian border.
 
Developer DICE has promised to fix the rubber-banding issue that has affected first-person shooter Battlefield 4 since it launched last year.

In an update on Battlelog, DICE said it was unhappy with the performance of its servers and so would take steps to improve them.

"We wanted to provide a quick update on the issues with Battlefield 4 rubber-banding some players on certain platforms experienced during matches with 64-players," the note began.

"Looking into this further, we're unhappy with our server performance, so we'll be upgrading the hardware as soon as possible, investing more to deliver a better experience."

There's no word yet on when this work will be complete, but it's good news for Battlefield 4 players who have complained about the rubber-banding issue for some time now.

"Reducing lag for these players is absolutely a TOP priority for us to solve and we expect to have the solution very soon," DICE added.
 
Cheers - I'll believe it when I see it though.

Same here. My mates have been asking me for the last week to go on and even got a text last night saying 'you need to try this' but I just kept on playing dark souls 2. lol

I put 175 hours into it which is a lot and I'm more than happy to just wait it out now until it's fixed.

As we said last year. Its purely down to crap server hosting. This also explains why rubber banding is so prevalent on the 64 player PS4 / Xbox one servers but not on the 64 player PC servers which are hosted by 3rd parties.

Xbox 360 / PS3 isn't anywhere near affected since its a max of 24 players which plays fine.
