Hi Folks,

A colleague wants a new PC that he can casually game on.

He wants to be able to upgrade it as he has the cash.

He has OS, monitor, kb & mouse.

He wants 3rd/4th gen i5, k model.
Graphics, no worries about amd/nV.

What can you guys come up with?

Thanks in advance.

I wasnt having a go, just like how the specs always like to just push the budget that little bit more. Thats me to a tee `look what i could get for an extra twenty quid here and there`

:D

It surprising how quick the price of the rig increases when building - especially the ram, bought my Kingston grey at £30 for 8gb now were looking at £55 :(

This always makes me smile thought the budget was £500 not £600?

Aye, twas £500. That was for a mate. I'm looking at building something similar for the Mrs.

@RJC, I like this build. If I had to lose/change something to squeeze an 120GB SSD into the build what would you suggest? I'd look to keep it around (within £50) of this price.

Cheers
