Just watched my housemate win £800 starting with £3 on PaddyPower's live casino roulette page.

Anyone else a fan?

I haven't played it before but had a quick go and managed to get £50 from £10 but as with all gambling, it's good to set yourself a limit. :p

Careful with the online ones, friend of mine knows how they're programmed and it's very much in the casino's favour.

Used to play it a lot online when the casinos had the big deposit offers that didn't have any play through restrictions and won quite a lot of money. Don't play it online anymore though as those types of bonus offers are hard to find now. I do have the occasional go in real casinos though as it is pretty fun.

If you ever play long-term then you will lose money because the odds are not in your favour. Play once and if you win then leave it at that and never play again.

Yeah I have a monthly roulette budget. Play and win very regularly. Usually end up doubling my wage and living off the winnings.

I only play in an actual casino though, no electronic crap. One of the reasons I play roulette is being able to feel that casino atmosphere.

There are ways to mitigate the casino's natural edge.

Yeah, did the sign-up bonus thing for a while as a student - it's been over 10 years since, and the wagering requirements are a bit excessive now.

Couldn't use roulette for the wagering requirements, though, so I've never really played.

I'm pretty sure you can make a group of bets too, where there's basically no chance of you doing anything less than breaking even. Could be wrong, though!
You can. Except there's also no chance of you doing anything better than breaking even either.

Except.

If you don't also put a bet on zero, then you can lose the lot. And if you do, then you're no longer going to break even.

Asim is hopelessly wrong - unless his croupier is rigging the game in his favour.

nvm. tmi.

So you're saying you pick a table with a young kid you can con into paying out when they aren't supposed to. Or you know the guy and he knows when he can get away with paying out when he shouldn't.
