What phone are you getting out of the new flagships?

None.

Having looked at how crap the deals around are I'll be sticking with my current handset which is 2 gens old now.

I'll probably mop up somebodies 2nd hand handset in 6 months and stay sim only when I do decide to change..

Deciding whether to go for a change with the 930 or wait till the next iPhone and go back to iOS.

Better the devil you know I suppose. :p

None for me happy with the M7, None of the new phones offer much over it anyway. The only one I could see me having out of them is the M8 & that isn't enough to justify the upgrade imo.

Based on my experience with the S4 I would go Samsung again.. I dont however see any reason in upgrading from S4 to S5, so I will stay put for another year. I dont know what the HTC is like, but 3rd Party ROMs for the S4 has been second to none, a huge number of them.

Torn between the Z2 and the Lumia 930. I quite fancy a change from Android but the Lumia 930 is not out till June...tempted to just get the Z2 as I'm not sure I can wait.
;-)

If I had to choose one, it'd be between the M8 and the Z2. The Galaxy range seems rather tacky these days and I know I'd just find myself getting frustrated with the amount of bloat Samsung see fit to add to their devices.

That said, I'm not particularly interested in any of them. My Nexus 4 is still serving me very well and I can't see an upgrade being necessary for a couple of years at least. Plus the sheer size of these new devices puts me off, compared to the N4 both the M7 and Z2 are massive. I just don't know if I'd want a phone that big.

I went from the S2 > Note 2 > Note 3

I think i'll skip a generation and wait what the Note 5 brings unless the Note 4 is a huge leap. (doubt it) and even then i'm willing to wait a while for the prince to fall, the Note 3 is a hell of a phone and can't see needing more for a while

I'm sold on the M8 to replace my S3 but it's just a question of when.

I'm not sure about paying £39 a month when I could stick with my current handset (it's in perfect condition) for a few more months at £12.90 a month and upgrade when the prices come down a bit.

While I mentioned I would like a Z2 or Nokia 930 earlier in the thread - one issue for me is the current cost of contracts.

I'm currently on a rolling monthly plan with Giffgaff with my Nexus 4 at £12 a month. I would like to get a 4G contract living in the Nottingham area, but it looks like it's at least £40+ to get a good amount of data allowance - which is slightly off putting.

I'll likely have to go with a cheaper 3G plan or go with Three and hope they roll out 4G to the Nottingham area soon.

Is data allowance really important to a lot of people?
I struggle using my 500mb 3G allowance as there's pretty much WIFI everywhere.
