Don't think either of those members were mods then.

And for those wondering why, it's just inappropriate. Have a heart FFS.

Like I said I agree, but it would be nice if the rules are applied across the board and not just for people you like. Don't think any posts were removed from that thread or very little.

It's called common decency. Someone has died. Have a modicum of respect.

You could argue respect is something that has to be earned. It should be given, not demanded.

She was born in to a highly privileged position, awarded fame and opportunities far beyond those that her own talent could have generated - and it looks like they've all been squandered. We don't know that for definite though and this could be some tragic accident or illness.

The way we moderate has changed since then. That thread is nearly 3 years old but I take your point onboard.

I didn't like her after her Ian Watkins/social media idiocy but yes she was way too young and has left two young children which must be beyond terrible, poor family.

I agree mate, and Burnsy is right we've moved on a lot since then.

And for the record, I haven't stated anywhere that I like her but I just think it's wrong to make jokes as soon as we've found out. Those that know me know that I can make some awful jokes but there's a time and a place for everything.

No worries and good to see, don't buy the horse**** black humour some try to hide behind when making inappropriate comments.

Its a sad death (because she is young), and more so because she has two children...

But on the issue of jokes... Someone and/or group is always the butt of the joke... That makes it a (modern) joke... Why is it any more disrespectful when she is dead? Surely making a joke of them when living is worse... (Don't take insult to this comment - I can't be bothered arguing my point - just stating it).

And I'll take back the above (it being a sad loss) if it turns out she died of an overdose / suicide... No place for that when you have kids.

You shouldn't have to 'earn' the respect of anyone, we should all respect each other unless there's a good reason not to. A concept too many people struggle with.

You're right, I guess the usual time for this is about a year when every TV comedian will be making joke references.
