5ghz stable 4930k Ht-on.

Are you 4 real.

Whats wrong with doing that ?????
Did you actually read it all

If you think any of their systems were sold unstable you'd here about it on the forums, paying 10k for a super computer to crash would spark outrage.

Also they bin the CPUs, the ones that make the grade are delidded to keep temps in check.

I understand maybe they may bin those ones on £2k systems, but what about a bundle, I just looked and I can get a gigabyte Sniper M5 + 4770k OCed to 4.6ghz and 16gb Team Red 2133mh for £669.

To buy those parts separately comes to £480, I don't think they will be binning any CPU's at that price, they'd loose money left right and centre.

Cleary don't know how they bin lol. Yes, also binned. They're the chips that didn't make the 4.7/4.9 grade and passed down. Also delidded, to keep temps in check.

Theese bundles here feature binned delidded chips.

Several people i play games with run theese setups, quite often using higher clockspeeds than what ocuk put on them.

4.6ghz extreme haswell bundle is binned, delidded and liquid metal. Most will do 4.9-5.2ghz under 1.4v.

Ocuk's binning system is spot on IMO, certainly know what they're doing.

aye, worth the extra. Props to OCUK.

Yes, it seems you spend more time stress testing your PC.

So do my cats they love watching the washing machine they must be waiting for it to fall over and fail.

Seen it happen mate, didn't fall over whilst stressing though, fell over playing BF4 LOL.

12 hours of prime over night, 12 hours for AIDA64 overnight, 12 hours of Memtest overnight, the rest, things like cinebench, heaven bench, valley bench, 3dmarks, pc mark take mins to run.

Im running prime now as im off out and by the time I get back it'll be done.

IMFAO, do you actually use your PC for general use and gaming it seems not.

Best of British to you hope there's no BSOD when you get back so you can get down to using your PC.

Took him a week before he could use his system for an overclock @4.6. Easiest overclock he's ever done as well lol, does that mean his other chips have taken him longer than a week!! to get 'stable'??

Yes I do, but im more into modding, and hacking phones (the legal version), writing ROM's, I don't game.

ON A PLUS SIDE, IM NOT BRITISH.

Yes other chips have taken longer to answer your question, was much harder and challenging to push a chip to its absolute limits when you had to overclock using BLK not a simple multiplier change.

And not before I could use my system, im using it now arnt I whilst running prime. and running music off it, and obviously surfing the net, what an idiot.

Right, so lets say they sell an overclocked bundle, for example, a 4770k with mobo and ram overclocked to 4.6ghz, (Im saying this as without looking I don't know if they do or not), why buy one when I can quite easily do it myself, we all know that you pretty much have to have a lucky chip to do 4.6ghz+, so do you really think they sit there and open 10 or 20 CPU's until they get one that clocks to 4.6ghz fully stable ?

Or do you think they take a CPU off the shelf, stick it at 4.6ghz and run a couple of small tests like Heaven bench, and 3dMark to consider it stable.

Maybe you want to stop with you slang and actually sit back and think about it, doesn't take long, im sure 1 min of brain power is all that's required.

Whatever you say young pup :) your rubbish is making my brain hurt, I know that much ;)

Soak testing and degrading your chip on a synthetic bench with the same algorithms over and over. Have fun mate, hope you get to use your PC occasionally.

This is 5g not 6.3!!! Show us some Physics scores, Cinebench, XTU, Prime interests no one and proves nothing.

5g / 1600mhz Dual/single channel is a breeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze!!!!

Not doubting that you know more than nearly anyone regarding overclocking.

However your claim 5gzh is a breeze whilst your £10,000 system with the same cpu is only rated for a guaranteed 4.8gzh, this speaks volumes.
If it is such a breeze to get a stable 5ghz system surely you can guarantee a 5ghz minimum. I'm sure memory speeds etc come into play too so it's not a fair comparison.. give the guy some encouragement instead of massaging your ego. ;)

I'm sorry 8 pack but that is flat out wrong....

Its a breeze for all my bench chips!! Dual is a lot easier than quad as is 1600 over 2600 or even 2400. I have tested a lot of chips on a lot of different cooling.

Systems are rated a lot differently. We need several chips to do the frequency not just afew. Supernova actually sells at a reasonable rate certainly more than what most on here think. You have to rate it what your worsed chip is capable of not your best. Its from 4.8. We don't know when the next good chips will be found so state a minimum speed where we have afew not just 3 or 4 chips. We cant say its 5ghz one day afew sell then its 4.9 afew sell then its 4.8. We need consistency in a product of this nature.

Correct. Binning is done on every single batch we receive for systems. We get a good batch we buy more.

That's why we are the only E Tailer offering such high overclocks.
