Release date set for June 17th.

Bruce lee revealed as bonus character unlockable by completing the game or pre-ordering.

This looks promising, although we still haven't seen 'proper' in-game footage. Some of the fighters look spot on, whilst others look a bit off.

More footage:

Bruce Lee could do with being a bit more ripped from the pic that I've seen, also the devs have given him a very generous package (for an Asian guy lol)

not that I've been paying attention to many new titles but this is the first 'next gen only' game that has caught my interest

pity I don't have an XB1 or PS4

i'm assuming it's next gen only - pretty rubbish if it is, wasn't planning on a new console

lol EA, it will be terrible compared to the older non EA ones gameplay wise.

I shall wait until it's £10 second hand before giving it a try after buying fifa 14 and bf4 and their many issues, I refuse to hand over more than £10 for another EA title so fast.

Everyone should wait for proper reviews tbh, or at least someone streaming gameplay on the PS4 live before handing over cash for this game.

EA will kill this franchise as they have done to others.

I'm most likely buying a PS4 just for this game!! The last game was awesome!!

I know EA are the devil and every game they've ever made is terrible, they're ruining gaming and blah, blah, blah, but back in the real world they make all of the best sports franchises.

I'm plain excited for this!!

They've already had an MMA game out which wasn't terrible - EA MMA

It'll likely just be an updated version of that now that they have the UFC license.

the non EA version was far superior though ;)

I would have preferred that EA weren't given the official license but they have the most money so can easily outbid the better but much smaller companies.

Gaming seriously needs an ofcom type regulation they have effectively got a monopoly of the market especially in terms of sporting franchises and all of their games are riddled with bugs and really poor quality.

I've seen on Twitter today that we'll get a demo of this at some point, so I'll be trying that before making a decision. Graphically it looks amazing, but I didn't like EA MMA much so I won't be pre-ordering until I've had some hands on time with it.

It's a different development team working on this game. Not the same team that made EA MMA. It's being developed by EA Canada, the team that worked on the Fight Night games, which is a good sign.

fight night franchise went downhill too compared to their first games IMO, no innovation what so ever.

EA canada are also responsible for fifa, etc too which has also went downhill IMO, this years fifa is the worst one of the past 4 years and it's the one I've played the least on as a result.

Will need to try the demo out and if the gameplay is worse than older NON EA titles then i'll wait until it's £10 second hand personally, as much as I love UFC I just cannot bare paying EA good money for sub par titles.

We need a fight night aswell.

Completely agree. Fight Night was a great game and truly showcased the next gen when it was launched. Got so many hours of gaming from that title. Would love to see a new version for it on the new consoles.

Never been a huge fan of MMA games as they always get a bit overly technical and clumsy when things go to the ground. Lets hope with the Fight Night team behind it they can get the best out of it. Have to say, it does look very good.
