Why because I have respect for the laws and customs of countries I visit? instead of demanding they change to suit a minority ?
tolerance only goes so far, when you start expecting us to change our country for a minority ....... you know something went wrong
it is when a migrant comes over for a better life and then demands we change to suit a religion.
I don't think we should make changes for any religion in the modern world, it is out dated and backwards the sooner people realise this the better off we will be as a global race.
if you want sharia law or whatever then go to a country that practices it?

well if they are in favour of muslim laws go to a muslim country?
a volunteer caretaker took a group of Portuguese people on a tour around a mosque something most of the good muslims of the mosque were fine with.
her brother then beats the guy up because he doesn't agree with then having their faces uncovered (how tolerant a muslim he is)
her sister is then stupid enough to try and intimidate the poor caretaker...
Great Muslims those 2 a real credit to Allah and exactly the type of people we want in this country.
Now the guy I cycle past on a daily basis at the local park that always waves and asks how I'm doing is a good muslim who tries to fit in with the country he lives in and shows respect for people not of his faith.
I would happily live next door to this guy no probs, but if he started whining the country should change to suit his religious beliefs I'd tell him straight religion is BS made up during the stupid ages to keep peasants in check

Why are you quoting that rule to me ? I wasn't trolling, I was giving an honest opinion which to be fair is a mainstream opinion. We all understand the problems of even moderate Islam in Western societies. Well, those of us who are informed do. Sharia, arranged marriages, honour killings, death for apostates, need I go on ? It's only fair that I have the right of free speech to oppose such things on a public forum.

I personally just feel you should respect the law and authority of the country you are in. For example, if I were to move to another country I would follow their law, and respect their judiciary system. What I wouldn't do, however, is try to instill British law in that country.
