Suppose it would have to be my first car. The Civic, which was awesome! But wasn't nowhere near as good as all the other cars i have had.

7. why was it the worst car you have ever owned?

Because it doesn't really compare to a VXR or both ST's i have owned

8. How long did you have it? - Too long!! (~4 months)

1. the best car you have ever owned?

Obvious, but since I've owned it the longest I'd say my current car, a 2007 BMW Z4M

2. how much did you pay/what did you swap or part exchange for?

Smidgen over £20K from a dealer at the height of the recession. A bargain as it was not even 18 months old and on 8k miles at the time. No part-ex as my Boxster's timing chain had let go leaving me with a useless lump of scrap metal with a Porsche badge on

3. did you have many problems with it?

Not really. Nothing but wear and tear and service items, touch wood.

4. would you buy it again?

Yes. Or rather I'm not going to sell it.

5. how long did you have it?

5 and a half years and counting

6. what is the worst car you have ever owned?

1994 Rover Metro Rio

7. why was it the worst car you have ever owned?

Under powered, dull, badly put together

8. how long did you have it?

About six months as I needed time to swallow my pride and realise I'd made a really bad choice.

So what is:
1. the best car you have ever owned?

Mazda MX5 Mk2. Awesome little car, so much fun to drive and I actually really miss it!

2. how much did you pay/what did you swap or part exchange for?

Can't remember exactly, about £5k.

3. did you have many problems with it?
Roof leaked a bit and it had a bit of rust showing on the rear arches but tbh mechanically it was brilliant.

4. would you buy it again?

Yep, last few months I've been thinking about how much fun it was.

5. how long did you have it?

Two and a half years, traded it in for a Mondeo ST220 (slightly different!).

and also:
6. what is the worst car you have ever owned?

Vauxhall Astra 1.7 Diesel (company car)

7. why was it the worst car you have ever owned?

No character whatsoever, its just a tool for getting from A to B. In all my previous cars I would go out for a drive just for the sake of driving, I don't bother any more as its just dull.

8. how long did you have it?
Coming up to year pretty soon

3. Ventilation fan motor burnt out. One of the wheel bearings needed replacing.
4. Yes

Don't really have a worst car. The Focus 1.6 I have now does the job just nicely, just in retrospect I preferred the 306.

1. the best car you have ever owned?

BMW E46 330i

2. how much did you pay/what did you swap or part exchange for?

Paid £3,800 in 2012

3. did you have many problems with it?

Bushes and wishbones, standard E46 fashion.

4. would you buy it again?

Hmm, yeah, and I can prove this as I did buy it again (well, the coupe version!)

5. how long did you have it?

9 months.

and also:

6. what is the worst car you have ever owned?

No real bad cars but my 2010 Toyota Yaris 1.33 was a bit rubbish.

7. why was it the worst car you have ever owned?

Totally naff performance, even at 100bhp in a small hatchback. The Aygo I had before felt more alive and in most scenarios, much nippier. Chassis and drivability were uninspiring. I bought it before I "got into" cars, however I was just becoming a bit of a petrol head at the time and it wasn't a smart purchase.

8. how long did you have it?

Two lousy years! :(
