What childrens TV shows did you grow with

The list could go on for ages, but particular highlights are.

He-Man
Ulysses 31 - I missed the final episode twice! Youtube saved me many, many years later.
Thundercats - Slightly too young and naïve to realise how messed up it was. :D
Tom & Jerry/Road Runner and the like.
Grange Hill from '82 - '89.

I was also a proper Blue Peter snob, I couldn't deal with the riff raff that appeared on ITV after 5pm. :D

Earliest memories...

Hectors House
The Herbs
Magic Roundabout
Mary Mungo and Midge
Fingerbobs
Rupert The Bear
Captain Pugwash
Noggin the Nog
Ivor The Engine
The Clangers
Etc, etc.

how far back do you want to go?
Jackanory, Playschool, Magpie, The Magic Roundabout and Rainbow to Chocky, Tomorrow People, Knightmare and other such shows....

I was born in '87.

  • The Raccoons
  • Gummy Bears
  • DuckTales
  • The Moomins
  • Garfield
  • Rugrats
  • Arthur
  • Recess
  • Hey Arnold
  • Daria
  • Saved by the Bell
  • Fun House
  • Finders Keepers
  • Tintin
  • Biker Mice from Mars
  • The Angry Beavers
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
  • The Wild Thornberrys

That's what I can remember off the top of my head but I'm sure there are loads more that I can't remember. I think I actually preferred the 80's stuff that was being re-run rather than the silly amount of Nickelodeon stuff that I seemed to watch daily. :p

M.A.S.K
The A-Team
Knight Rider
Transformers
Banana Man
Super Ted
Airwolf
CHiPs

And probably a load more I can't remember at the moment.
