Crisps.

Cheese (i mss that the most).
although i still have bread (sandwiches) i dont have it with "every" meal.

The foods i can't give up are:

chocolate.
biscuits.

what about you guys ?

I currently stick to a ketogenic diet, so don't eat carbs.. That means no sugar, but also no startch.. No bread, pasta, potato, chocolate, soup, carrots, etc. It's... interesting :)

Yeah I don't know why anyone would do that.

Life is dull enough without intentionally making it more so :p

The way I look at it, I'd rather die at 60 of a heart attack after spending my whole life eating the things I enjoy than live to 90 living off things that taste like cardboard.

If it was eat healthy and you live forever, or even double your lifespan I could understand it but all this people who live of rabbit food and go running everyday do know they'll die like everyone else right?

What if you don't make 45 though

I have lost a lot of weight recently. I have given up or almost given up:
Fizzy drinks (Rarely)
Biscuits
Takeaways
Instant crap - Frozen pizza, microwave meals etc.

I cannot give up
Cheese - I like most, but only love a few varieties. Hard to give up.
Pork - Italian/German sausage and ham. No way.
Bread - In true English style I still shovel mountains of the stuff down my throat. I know I shouldn't but I do like the Lidl in-store bakery (as laughably small as it is!). Bread is by far the killer.

I firmly believe that the killer for me is portion size. With some food I can just keep going. Before my heartburn operation (Nissen Fundoplication and Hatius Hernia) in 2009 I could eat a large pizza with cheesy bites, a side and finish a litre of Pepsi. No wonder I was fat (not what gave heartburn mind!).

Peanut butter is like crack, i'm ok so long as I dont buy it but if its in the house its gone inside 24 hours. I only buy 2 or 3 annually for that reason.

To answer seriously, whilst I've given up meat for lent before, I think I'd struggle to give it up for good. As well as eggs. And fish. And fresh fruit and vegetables. And nuts.

If I never had crisps, or sweets or chocolate ever again I wouldn't care. Same with alcohol - I just wouldn't miss it.
