Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [18th April - 22nd April 2014]

Dude, I have to be realistic.
If we can come away from this game with 3-0, I would say this would be an excellent result for us.
No joke.
I have a very low opinion of Moyes and am praying that he gets sacked asap.
Never in my life have a seen a manager come in and take a title winning team to 7th place AND keep his job. NEVER!!!

There arent that many managers that have retired after winning the league either (while also losing his main compatriot behind the scenes either)

Seriously, his first touch is fantastic. He runs into problems where he has nobody moving round him as he then has to try to beat a man, and falls over his own feet. But in terms of playing one touch football with Mata and Kagawa he is by far your best option.

No .It. Isnt.

His first touch is usually dreadful, you need to watch him more if you are being serious.

I think we'll try and get Klopp but that's unlikely, so we'll have Van Gaal next season. Fingers crossed.

what evidence is there of united being linked to van gaal?

i can't see united sacking moyes after one season. doesn't look good on the club or ferguson and who the heck is going to want fellaini in the squad?

The only reason I dont want Van Gaal is that he will probably want to keep Van Persie and think thats a backward step

He did ask for EVIDENCE LOL - paper talk is all that is

Plenty of links, I'm sure we've at least considered it so it's not hard to believe. Fellaini can be sold?

"Right Dave, what now?"

The only reason I dont want Van Gaal is that he will probably want to keep Van Persie and think thats a backward step

Or he makes him a world class striker again for a couple of years...

All based on one dutch article which really isnt much

Be that as it may, I certainly hope the board are looking at replacements. If a proven quality manager is available, why continue with this very average one? Our 'experiment' has failed, as much as I didn't want it to.

Will he keep him fit for a full season? Doubtful

It's been done for two seasons in a row so I don't see why not. Moyes kept him on when he wasn't fit and he suffered for it.
