the thread on the caf about this is absolutely hilarious

Klopp won't happen, he'll see out his contract at Dortmund. It's more likely to be Van Gaal, especially considering that the Spurs deal seems to have stalled and it was reported 2 – 3 weeks ago he'd met with us.

.
maybe LVG as a stop-gap until Klopp is available?
Please Klopp, Please let it be Klopp!
David Moyes would be the first manager that Manchester United have sacked since 1986... One final record.
lol yes because van gaal is going to take a job knowing he's essentially a seat warmer?
Whether Fergie will admit it to himself or not, he knew deep down, Moyes wasn't up to the job.
Patriotism blinded him to Moyes' true abilities, but secretly Ferguson didn't want ANYONE overshadowing his epic reign at Utd.
If a truly competent manager had replaced him with immediate success, say, winning the European Cup, it would have taken a fair bit of shine off Fergie's legacy and definitely highlighted certain tactical deficiencies that Fergie had, particualrly in Europe.
Now, Fergie gets to bask in the glow that a team he won the league with only a year ago, was so ineptly managed by Moyes, even with £70 million of players added to the squad, and has had their worst season in decades, breaking all kinds of unwanted records in the process.
The crafy old git knew exactly what he was up to, even if he'll never admit it publically, I guarantee he'll have had many a private chuckle at Moyes' expense this season.
