David Moyes disgracefully sacked

Just read this myself, why on earth would they ask him after the last disaster?!

Then why would you ask a board that appointed a bad manager when the next one can be great? Like any board they sometimes get it wrong. So it's not beyond reason that fergie got a lot wrong too.

Did the same board that decided on Wenger not previously choose the wrong man for example. The same man picked evertons managers before finding moyes.

You can't write fergie off because of one mistake.

United took Fergie's advice but Moyes didn't take Fergie's advice. He sacked all the back room staff, makes you wonder what else he did.

Honestly Moyes should have been given a season with Fergie before taking control.

This

Fergie prob picked moyes expecting him to work with the current staff who know the club and can help him.

Instead he brought in all new staff who have not run such a big club.

Not fergies fault.

I'd written him off a long time ago to be honest.

But more because of the fact that to me he pulled a fast one, and was dishonest. Rather than coming out and saying that the squad wasn't good enough and Moyes would need a few seasons to rebuild it, he claimed the opposite.

You just know they will win the last games and get the job.

Agreed. Can't see the point in getting Giggs, Butt and Scholes involved for three games unless they're giving them serious consideration for a permanent position.

Also, if it's true Ferguson is playing a role in the selection of the next manager, it's clear he's not keen on bringing in a high profile outsider.

Personally, I think it's a mistake.

United needed a fresh approach after Fergie, his reluctance to strengthen midfield plus an aging squad needed someone with a strong backbone to come in and flush the turds in the team, Moyes was definatly not the strong character which was required. Hopefully whoever comes in next can clear out the Youngs, Valencias, Cleverlys of the squad and replace them with quality.

Wosh everyone would stop repeating this

All of the old back room staff refused offers made by Moyes

Giggs and Scholes may well have vast experience as players, but as managers they know squat. I would cheer from the rooftops if they get backroom positions past the summer, but its only going to get much worse without vast managerial experience at the helm. As proven in the last 10 months its no job for just any experienced manager let alone novices. Glazers wont make the same mistake again

As they turned the offers down not much possibility but haters gotta hate

So without any quotes or indication they turned down offers you assume they did. I believe the main story came up when Fergie was quoted as saying he was surprised Moyes replaced the back room staff as Fergie had directly advised him to keep them in place. Fergie was pretty ticked off with it and thought it a bad idea.

As for turning down offers, they may well have done, you haven't stated what offers though.

if Moyes comes in and brings a new assistant manager and offers Rene head of youth coaching or something and he turned that down, it makes both stories true. Considering it was Fergie who was quoted as saying they were replaced, and you can't find anything contradictory then I'm going to go with Fergie on this one.

I pointed it out at the time Fergie mentioned it as a pretty big story and a huge mistake by Moyes. He bought in "his" staff pretty quickly and as above, he may have made them offers for other jobs but then not accepting lower jobs doesn't mean they also weren't replaced.

doubt he will make another mistake he will be used to influence one of the big names most likely like JM , Ancelotti , Klopp or LVG

There's a chance of LVG. But I'd love to be a fly on the wall when he names his conditions. ie Eff off Ferg.

Near to none of Klopp or Ancelotti. Who knows about Mourinho, he's off his nut.

You have to bear in mind, the sacking of Moyes at this particular time is all about guaranteeing season ticket sales for next season. All this bluster about warchests and Toni Kroos is nonsense when in the context of the rinsing the Glazers do.

The odd better result and Moyes would still be in a job.

Because those linls are already in this thread

Every single manager who gets a new appointment appoints his owm backroom staff, Im sre Wenger did it initially as well as Mourinho when he first came to Chelsea

You are just speculating
