Stephen's Story - living life to the max in spite of terminal illness

I finds the whole thing utterly bizarre when reading a few of his posts but good for him raising attention and money to the/his cause.

Im not saying you cant face it with this attitude but its very rare and i find it unsettling

This floored me. I know there undoubtedly hundreds of other kids dying of cancer out there - however he just managed to bring such strength and inspiration. Reminds me of our own Zoltan here, and his positive attitude despite being in an immense world of pain.

So tragic, yet so amazing to have raised so much money and done so much in his very short life. :(

I'd love for him to bounce back, but it looks pretty much as though he isn't likely to. His tweets over the last hours have been so touching.

Puts your life into perspective when you see things like this. I almost lost my composure in the office :( which is daft as I don't know him, but I find his behaviour very touching and brave.

Such an inspiration, sadly reading his Facebook page his time is nearly up :(. At least he lived it to the full and enjoyed it till the end. How he can stay so calm and composed about his situation amazes me.

This may sound like a daft thing to say, but is it possible to change the title of this thread to something a bit more positive?

The guy has made an amazing achievement and it doesn't feel right to be summed up like this.

Also on a more personal level, for those who have been visited a little too closely by the c. word, that's quite a hard title to keep reading as a GD title.

As I said it may sound daft to some, don't slate me for it, it's just a suggestion.
