OcUK have a brand and an image to keep up. Most of the advertisements on these forums are in a set format, with images, links and a description. These forums aren't here for your pleasure, they generate revenue for the business and create a community who stay loyal to the firm.
If I was managing someone new who could effectively reach hundreds of thousands of potential clients, I'd want to check over it and make sure it reaches the standards and quality expected before it's sent out.

I said the content and presentation should have been checked but didn't comment on the implications. I'm sure no real harm has been done in all honesty, certainly not to the level of lost revenue but no doubt in the future it will be expected that posts of this nature at least have a link, image and description.
