He's won multiple corners and throw ins, he's held the ball up well, won many long balls, and he's done well. Salah and Schurrle are playing like cack. Suarez has made several bad passes, does that make him a bad player then? What about Sterling, made several bad crosses and passes, bad player because of a couple poor passes or touches? Rubbish.

Gerrard the worst player in the league because he made the biggest error in the game?

You're jumping on two mistakes and ignoring the huge amount of good work he's put in this half and yes, when given a one on one he finished it.
 
Great half for Chelsea. We knew how they would play and they've done it extremely well.

Sakho has been awful and really should not be playing a square ball with Ba so close to Gerrard and Lucas hasn't done much in defence or going forward so I'd be tempted to get Agger and Sturridge on ASAP.

Going to be very difficult now without a bit of luck. Chelsea can now sit back and try to catch on the break even more so than they were doing and we have to push forward more.

Edit: Bit harsh on Sakho on second viewing, Gerrard had plenty of space :(

Can't remember if he's done one yet this season but it's pretty nailed on that he'll either do a shocking back pass or that kind of mistake to let someone through to score every season. He somehow manages one of those is maybe the most important game every season.
 
Seems that all the gerrard deserves a epl medal have finally pigeoned him:( Not looking forward to our second half considering how poo they tend to be.

Every season? He's done it once, maybe twice, for Liverpool and once for England in a 13/14 year career. You do the maths.
 
A draw is adequate for Liverpool so 1-1 wouldn't be terrible. It's just the fact that it's Chelsea they have to score against.

What? Ba was miles away. Trying to out any blame on Sahko is lolworthy.
 
Liverpool only need a draw so all is not lost, Chelsea have looked pretty comfortable though.

Gerrard will feel rotten if that miscontrol/slip costs Liverpool the title.
 
Mourinho has played this in a typical fashion so far, he's antagonising the Liverpool fans and creating a whirlwind of nerves, frustration and anger within the stadium, all by himself. :p

I remember Gerrard's back-pass against Chelsea that gave them a free goal that cost us a few years ago.
