There was no commander and with suppressor you don't show up on the minimap, your sound is attenuated (sound whoring is very possible in this game) while only taking a bullet velocity penalty and standing still hipfire penalty (who stands still and hipfires lol). Not showing up on the minimap is a massive benefit IMO but as you can't use stats to prove this theory, it's full benefit is unquantifiable whilst being an accepted fact that it is a benefit :D

I'm always using a suppressor on an LMG on lockers or metro.
Not turning up on the minimap when you've just flanked the enemy and have at least 100 rounds before you need to reload is priceless. It also makes the gun much easier to handle. I haven't tried the M240B though I assumed it would be too much to control compared to an M249/m4/AWS.

ahhhh think may have seen you, or another, join our squad actually. But then we booted randoms for the squad clan stack xD so sorry if you were booted from squad xD

bit of a question, what to the "pros" use for jets? kb+m or joystick? reason I ask is I was watching some jet gameplay on the facetubes and noticed which the guy was flying he was able to free look AND control the direction of the plane.

I play with kb+m and found when I press RMB to free look my jet just continues on in a straight line, can't use any yaw input (A+D) or pulling up (space cos hax). so how is this guy able to keep banking/yawing whilst in free look? not a game breaker but would be nice to adjust my flight path while still looking at something else.

The ems one final had about 3.5K which is terrible, when you compare it to CSGO Katowice which was getting 200+K per match and more in the final.

The weekly Sunday Go4 Cups get no viewers at all.

I have no desire to watch any BF4 tourney when the game plays like ****. The comments are all spot on. Zh1nto is just a leech, living in a bubble full of hopes and dreams, the sooner he is sacked from DICE the better. That goes for Kertz too.

Also watch this, incase you haven't seen it before. Competitive play for BF has steadily been declining. They may as well make the game a full COD YOLO SWAG fest to get numbers up because that is what the game has slowly become.

In other news....

An update for the Battlelog mobile app will be rolled out later today, containing several new features, improvements and fixes. A separate changelog will be posted for that after the update.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- You now only need 2 members of the Platoon playing in the same round to get stats and earn XP for your Platoon. At the same time, we have tweaked the algorithm for how Platoons earn XP, so playing with more Platoon members in the same round will provide additional XP bonus.

FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS:
- Platoons has been moved to the main header menu, replacing Missions. Missions is now found in the Multiplayer dropdown.
- Loadout Presets now has a minimum character limit of 1, instead of 3
- The name of vehicles is now displayed below all earned vehicle unlocks in Battle Reports
- Various minor tweaks and improvements

FIXES:
- Various fixes for the Soldier Portraits, including adding the 4 missing portaits and properly marking the unlock criteria
- Fixed an issue in the forums where incorrect wordwrapping was applied in Firefox
- Fixed an issue where chat messages would sometimes disappear (but could be restored by refreshing the page)
- Fixed an issue with Service Star Battlepacks not being displayed with the correct unlock values
- Fixed an issue where going from Platoon Reports to your own Battle Reports page, or vice versa, would cause the page not to load
- Fixed various issues with incorrect unlock criteria shown in Loadout
- Fixed an issue with the Loadout Presets dropdown that didn't always correctly reset
- Fixed some Loadout Presets error messages that weren't shown
- Fixed an issue with some Platoon defined website links not working properly, e.g. when using https
- Fixed an issue where viewing a Battle Pickup in Stats -> Weapons showed a "View accessories" button
- Fixed a Firefox-specific audio issue (related to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=987889) [bugzilla.mozilla.org]
- Fixed an issue where the tooltip for closing Group Chats wouldn't disappear after closing the chat
- Added some missing translations in the Server Browser

Changed my clan tag and removed myself from the OCUK platoon. Now I can abuse people without making OCUK look bad. Going to find a new UK clan to play with too :D

They would not let me have my favorite 4 letter word as a tag so I replaced the C with a 6 :D

On a serious note, Josh, TFU regularly play BF4 each night yet you are no where to be seen. I'd be happy to second a vote that you remove your TFU tags and put OCUK ones on

[Disclaimer: In no way is using OCUK tags any less important than TFU, it's the principle]
