120 hours I've played and TBH despite the issues BF4 has been having I've always been lucky and the game has played fine.
This is really got me tho, the EA live chat are useless, the punkbuister doesn't seem to do anything as it says everythings up to date.
after a few mins of gameplay the fps starts to drop rapidly and then the balck screen. and all it can tell me is "something went wrong". pretty vague lol.

there must be some kind of fix for this problem. happened last night on my windows 7, happens today after installing windows 8 and redownloading all of BF4 over origin for a fresh install.

If they have an ounce of awareness that shouldn't be an issue, its not hard to keep track of your radar while switching to third person mode to see if any wee arse is sneaking up for a c4 plant. As it is now AA's basically camp it out at either side of the map and any decent pilots will either rape them with ease or just not bother going near where they're camped out which gives aircraft free reign for the most part.
 
Meh had a nice couple of night off the game, realised just how bad it is during that time.

Might take a few more nights off.
 
I hope watchdogs is decent. At least they delayed their game in an attempt to get it right rather than rush it out like they did with bf4
 
me neither Westie, Dark Souls 2 is awesome.

About 20 hours in now here, loving it. I have Child Of Light tomorrow as well so doubt BF4 will get played at all this week

Its something I don't understand - some people seem to be able to use HMGs to devastating effect - killing people with 2-3 hits at close to medium range - but I really struggle with them and while my aim isn't amazing its not terrible either.

Sometimes I just plain struggle to get any hits to register with them other times I'm seeing dozens of hit markers but an enemy can take 10 rounds and still run into cover alive.

Pretty sure its not me though - in the LB or gunner on the attack chopper I hit and kill pretty much everything I aim at with no effort at all.

Seem to be a not uncommon thing either - when talking to people about the game for every person who says how good the HMGs are theres another who really struggles with it (and I've played with these people long enough to know they aren't bad players - atleast not that bad most of them to be frank are better than me i.e. play ESL ladders reguarly, etc.).
 
Going to play Sleeping Dogs, LA Noire, Batman x3, Watchdogs when it drops. Might come back to BF 4 after that, will have to see how the next DLC's do.

Anyway going to bed, got to make sure I am fresh as a daisy for tomorrow. Lol
 
Not the most enjoyable of games this evening, I just couldn't get into it.

I'm not sure if it was the servers, my loadout (trying to get kill with the M4 carbine) or if am just losing interest in the game.

M4 is a bit of an exercise in futility if you run into any situation involving suppression spam. I got quite good with it for long range engagements in hardcore mode but won't really touch it in normal mode.

Yeah, I'm fast learning that. I kind of want to get all of the main unlocks (the non battlepack ones) for it as I think it is the only Carbine that I have not got them all for.

I think I might be forced to leave it as it just making my blood pressure rise trying to get kills with the dam thing.
 
I miss the M4A1 from bf3, awesome weapon. But tbh, even guns that are available in both games dont seem to perform as well in 4 as they did in 3. In bf4, aside from sniper rifles everything seems about as useful as a spud gun at ranges over 50 yards. In bf3 you could whack a x6 scope onto an M16 and turn it into a decent enough multi shot sniper rifle, good for 100 yards plus.
