Why are they not banning all meats to cater for the vegetarians?
Why can the Muslims not request something *without* the offending ingredients, like vegetarians?

I once knew a bloke who did more than that to subway, he maxed out his sub points on multiple occasions.
Ironically one of the skinniest guys I know, it's amazing, dude eats more than I do and I weigh over twice what he does.

For profit business in catering to local demographic shocker.
Religion trampling the values of secular people again. Wow. I never saw that coming. I always check the packaging of my food before I buy it. Halal products have little symbols on them, if I see them, I just put the food back on the shelf.

Why don't people understand that Subway were not forced to do this? They decided it'll be better for the franchise if they made this move.
Maybe more Muslims eat at Subway than non-Muslims thus Subway made a choice that some of their stores will be Halal only.
If you were the owner of Subway you probably would do the same if it equates into more profit and customers.

I keep getting told muslims are a minority and less than 5 % of our population. So how come any business cares?
Either the figures are totally wrong or they are vocally militant in their religion and not what we need or want in this country.

If you follow OP's link you will see that Subway stress that their halal meat is stunned before slaughter.
