I noticed I got 4 achievements then nothing, I'm using the downsampling tool.
Can you link some GEM ENB screenies?
The GEM ENB makes the game look more like the reveal, more natural. You use the Gesato? downsampling tool along with it.

Yes I am, try to keep mobility around 50-55%. I'm using 2hand with a 1hand sword aswell.
It is definitely about learning to dodge with this style of play, this involves dying a lot to bosses to learn their moves.
As melee always try to keep at the back of your opponent.

L2. I'm using dual scimitars, and can Parry with the left one.... I rarely Parry though tbh, as I use it two handed.
Their power stance double attack isn't actually that slow to land. I usually combo Rb, Lb into L1, or roll in with Rb, Lb, L1 - then my guy's almost completely spent and has to run away!
so ive just killed the last sinner but am now stuck as to where i go next. without giving to much away can you point me in the right direction. Done the last giant, the sentinels, the pursuer, the dragon lord, the 2 bodied thing in no mans wharf, and maybe more but cant think of any atm.
You have several places you could go.
There is the well in Majula. Run back to Heides Tower from Majula and you'll find somewhere new to go by talking to an NPC. Also past Benhart is another area if you have an item which can deal with statues.
died when i dropped down the well, even with the cat ring on. need to put more points in hp before i go there. the twisty room i may have to do but what do i use for the statues?
Lol really? Visuals are stunning in places
There's another way down the well that you'll be able to use if you complete one of the other areas. The stone people can be unfrozen with an item called 'fragrant branch of yore'.
If you've got the miracle lady after the dragonrider to move back to Majula, there is another path you can open from the room she moves to. I'd suggest having a look there and going down that route.
And naff in others! Controls are awful on the controller as well, still not as bad as DS1
