16GB 2133MHz DDR3
SSDx2 Raid 0
GTX 780ti iChill @1250MHz
Running 24/7 with the following software:
CIS Webserver
iSpy CCTV x 2 IP cams and 2 USB cams on 24/7 record
Tonido Cloud software
VMware x 1 machine 24/7 and other as required - both use 2GB RAM
USB Network Server with Printer and ext HDD
I have 3 screens with main for 1080p gaming , 2nd with CCTV, OpenHardwareMonitor and Mo00o System monitor, and 3rd for browser and other use.
I have:
2x120GB SSD Raid 0 as C:
1x240GB SSD as D:
1 x1.5TB HDD as E:
1.5TB NAS as Z:
I plan to keep the SSD's, HDD and NAS along with the GTX780ti and the 1000w PSU, also I have a Kraken 280 AIO cooler and Dimastech Bench.
I want to upgrade my system to future proof for at least the next 3 years if not more and was looking at going for a 4930K with 2011 board.
As I have a system that is not just for gaming I am finding it hard to decide whether to stay with the current setup, upgrade now to a hex core Intel setup or wait another few months for the next gen hardware?
I can afford to lay out £1500 or hopefully a little less for my upgrade, I will need to purchase a windows licence in with that too, so maybe £1400.
I am open to any idea's / suggestions, thanks in advance.
