Watch Dogs

i don't know why anyone wouldn't buy the standard plus season pass tbh.

who cares about a stupid cap which will never be worn after 2 days (even if it's for your 10 year old) as well as a completely pointless motorcycle neck sleeve thing which is only useful if you own a motorbike or work in an environment where you have lots of particles in the air, etc.

usually DLC adds to multiplayer aspect of things and gives you a slight advantage, etc.

e.g. in bf4 you get more battle packs, guns, etc as well as the extra maps/content.

Tbh the Dedsec edition didn't ring my bell either, i have the standard pre ordered for £35. (PS3)

hmmm not all publishers are like that for instance look at the witcher series of games
all dlc free and there not even a high end company compared to the rest of them but they make some of the best games ever... and there dlc is always free was for witcher 1 and 2...

Witcher is a tiny series. They have to give DLC away because people simply won't pay for it.

Witcher 2 for example, sold 1.7 million copies across all formats in its first year. Watchdogs will probably do more than that in its first day.

There are loads of other small games out there giving away free content. Which is partly because they don't have shareholders to answer to like EA, Activision, Ubisoft etc.. does, and partly because being a much smaller market, there simply isn't the market there to charge for it and make your money back on it. Far better to give it away as a "gesture" to drive future sales.

If you're that desperate for one of the dozen-or-so different special editions, just wait a few weeks/months after release and they'll be going cheap. Happens to every single Ubisoft game, there's really no point paying £90 for the extra nonsense you get.

Tesco mate, they have it on their direct website, £5 off when you spend over 30, which takes it down to £41. Then I get a bit extra through staff discount.

Shame Tesco dont do the Vigilante edition. Buying that as my son wants the cap and face scarf thing.....and obviously I'm an awesome dad :)

How are shopto in business still they are charging £54.95 for this it's like £45 other places

I was just looking around to preorder, used to use shopto a lot but there prices are expensive compared to most other places for new releases.

The odd thing is they will most likely lower the price soon but by that time most would have preordered elsewhere!, like I just did.

Really looking forward to this now!!

Whacked it through Flubit, they came back with £41 for inFAMOUS pre launch so if it's around that then I think I'll bite, standard edition.

Ubisofts confirmed the resolutions for this - the PS4 1080p/60fps on Sony's blog was SO FAR off the mark:

792p - XO; 900p - PS4; both at 30fps

Definitely not preordering this - want to see how the final product looks and reviews on here, and Ubisoft and their 400 variants of the game (and multiple visions of the game) are having a laugh - easier to compare car insurance :p
