Bristol giant water slide sees thrill-seekers soaked

Wow so many naysayers. No wonder, nothing different ever happens.
I think it's brilliant, if I had remembered it was on today would have gone had a look. Especially with the food tipi thing going on at the same time.

Very happy they're going to make a monthly event with different things. More events and more city centres should do such things.

Friends are going to the masterchef meal at the tepees, shame I can't make it to that either. However am off work this coming weekend, so will get down there.

Hmm lobster, they should do home delivery, cba going to the shop, not that Tesco metro has anything nice and don't fancy a takeaway.

It is good. What's bad about it?
Its fun, it's different etc. Does it really need to be the biggest, it's better than what it usually is, a road.

People were just (and rightly so) criticising the way it has been lauded by the press as thrilling.

Rightly so. So it's not thrilling?

God there's a lot of sad people in here.

When's the last time anyone went on a sloppy slide, let alone a public one in the middle of a town.
Grumpy ass forum people.

It would be more thrilling if someone stuck you in a zorb and sent you on your way down :p

I think the needed to add a bit of slippery stuff to that water, deffo not fast enough.

Maybe some KY

While I commend them for making things interesting. It is so British... more like it:
