Noticed a few threads popping up regarding various manufacturers Z97 offerings that are spilling out into the world early, so figured we could slap it all in one thread for all to see!

Gigabyte: http://uk.gigabyte.com/products/list.aspx?s=42&jid=0&p=346&v=23

Asus: http://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/Intel_Platform_Products/

EVGA: http://eu.evga.com/articles/00835/

MSI: http://www.anandtech.com/show/7986/z97-motherboards-listed-now-in-usa-taiwan-and-eu (no official listing yet!)

ASRock: http://www.asrock.com/mb/index.asp?s=1150

Which boards is everyone keeping an eye on? Personally I'll be going for either an M7E (if it materialises) or the EVGA Classified, which ever is available on release :)

Current speculated release date is 11th of May! Which is odd, it being a Sunday, some places are saying the 9th which is the Friday (THIS FRIDAY!)

im after an itx and am keeping my eyes peeled. Asrock seems to have a decent feature set compared to the others...?

Gigabyte SOC Force looks like the boss of the under £250 range just like the Z87X-OC currently is now.

It sure does :)

Wonder whats going to be replacing the current Force though, as it is I don't see a tri/quad SLI (PLX) capable board in their line up.

There are boards with PLX such as the G1 Gaming Wifi and BK edition version of it.

Not all the boards are listed on that link.

Ahh I did get a glimpse of the G1 wifi-BK when OcUK accidentally listed them last week, iirc it was £349.99.

Sure is a pretty board, glad to see more vendors breaking away from their traditional colour schemes.

the Gene actually looks the best of the 3 boards, doesn't say much for the Ranger or Hero though. The Hero looks decent, but you just know its going to get shown up by the SOC. As for the ranger, looks like a PxZxx-v LE board in drag.

Oh my god Z97, I have to sell my Z87 board right now, It's going to be light years ahead and give me all the frames, ALL THE FRAMES !!!

Oh wait, No it's not :p

Looking for an itx board. Was sorting of hoping for an ROG Impact. But not fussed if another brand is every bit as good as such offering

Gene does look good :D
Wonder if OCUK will do binned 4790k chips?
Id expect so, extreme bundles and 8Pack systems. Hopefully with the improved TIM on the 4790k there'll be no need to scalp them. Will be interesting to see how theyve improved the heat transfer. Im guessing, a paste like cl, less glue and a thinner heatspreader?
