People who fold carrier bags

Carrier bags usually end up in the bin. I think we have a couple in a drawer somewhere just in case of emergency.

I don't make the bed but I think the sheets get ironed. As for underwear and socks I've no idea as I don't do that either.

My family keep every single one. But I don't want to throw them away if they can be recycled. I give them to the Acado guy, who takes them to be recycled. They would rather hoard them. When I was a child we had this small thing, about the size of a pringles tin, which had all the plastic bags we needed in it. Now we have that, and a huge plastic box.

Ironed bed sheets feel so much better though. The reward is worth the effort.

I guess most sleep in boxers and t-shirts though so they would only feel it on the legs and arms and cannot appreciate ironed bed sheets. So do you sleep naked then to get full enjoyment?

I've done the crisp packet bow from post #4. Folding carrier bags though? That's just ridiculous. Granted, I do re-use my carrier bags but I just scrunch them up into my old school bag. I can fit 30+ in there and just pull one out when needed.

I tend to sausage my plastic bags (its less fun than it sounds :().

Hold both handles together, make a ring with the other hands thumb and index finger just below where you are holding the handle. Tighten the ring to make the hole fairly small and move your fingers down the bag to the bottom so it is more like a cylinder and then fold in half and put in another bag used to store all the spare plastic bags.

If I really want to freek out the wife I will leave one bag inside the other where they have been doubled up at the supermarket, inception style...

I always iron my plastic bags before folding them. It's important to have sharp edges on them in the cupboard.

When you get to my age folding plastic bags and crisp packets is highlight of my week.

I do fold tea towels rather than iron them. - another exciting part of day is washing out tins and taking labels off before put them in recycle bin.

Making thimbles sound good - how do you do that.

Anything to make day go quicker.

Dave

lol Dave I'm the same you need to fold the bags otherwise they get all scrunched up.

Crisps? What are these things of which you speak of?

Ironing bedsheets isn't weird - I don't do it, but I understand it.

The rest just seems like a waste of time to me.

I only fold them up if I need to put it in my back pocket before popping to lidl or something.

I don't iron, at all, never. I refuse to iron, it's like the hardest ****ing thing imaginable.
