24: Live Another Day

Id say the colour temperature is definitely more "uk" look to it, not an overly warm look you get in the likes of US TV Shows.

I liked the first two episodes... I am a simpleton so dont get involved in things to much I just try and enjoy the viewing...

the one thing that is bugging me is some of the american actors they have drafted in... the drone pilots acting when what happened, happened was just aweful... sounded like he lost a puppy not did what he did.

The drone pilot is British. :p He's also been cast for the new Star Wars film.

I think it suits it quite well - put a more stark visual aspect on it that really adds to the darkness around bauer and more emphasis on how far chloe has fallen that the old look wouldn't really have conveyed as well IMO.

Yea, in this just for the more flat colours she looks more punk, in the US mode she just would have looked like a bad Emo or something.

The 'colour temperature' reminds me of Waking The Dead.

Its definetly "cooler" looking, but I like it, as said, kinda looks more real/ gritty, and with the entire time cut in half, I think we could see some very fast paced action/ story episodes coming up.

good start, nice to see it back.

I hope they show a bit more to the nice side of London, Jack and Chloe rolling around in the slums is hardly a good advert for the country!

Not sure about Stephen Fry in it, hes too much a big personality to pull off being the PM.

Noticed the colour temperature of London is a bit down cast.. that's how the US see the UK.,. it bit dull, grey and grim.. :D

Was ok.. I'm not a great fan of Kiefer Sutherland. He tends to talks under his breath and you can't understand him.. The timing of the events is still laughable but in all, quite pleased with the open two episodes and it's the 24 format we all know.

Young red head's quite hot

Quelle surprise, a negative post by you! Is there anything that you actually do like?

Game of Thrones
Breaking Bad
Happy Valley
Fargo
Generation War

24 is silly but episode 2 was better and it is what it is:p

exposition central lol

Shot in real time...It takes the gunman about 45 seconds to get the gun out of the box lol

But I'll watch it as its shot in London.

Lol and William Devane isn't ? You do know what shows/films he's been in ?

And Meryl Streep played Maggie Thatcher.........can't have been high profile :p

Silly but wonderful, excellent TV. Hearing a block of council flats being referred to as projects made me laugh, mind.

I thought this - following Jack & Chloe climbing out of the RPG-made hole in the floor it took the blonde piece about 9 seconds to get up, run out of the super-secure CIA bunker (that was on level 5 lockdown BTW!) and out to the street to pop off a few shot's at the getaway van! :D

I get the feeling that the "shot in real time" is going to be very much a secondary consideration given that the show is only 12 episodes long and they will hope no-one minds!
